Starhub is The First To Charge 4G Service from 1 June 2014, How about The Other 2 Telcos?

Dear folks,

First spotted on a forum thread from Hardwarezone and publish in Today online , Starhub will begin to charge SmartSurf subscribers for 4G speeds starting from 1st June 2014 with a promotional rate of $2.14 per month and $10.70 per month once the promotional rate has ended, Starhub has not stated an end date for the promotional rate. SmartSurf HD subscribers continue to enjoy free 4G service.

Subscribers can unsubscribe from the 4G speed boost via their online account management or by calling 1633. After unsubscribing, mobile plans will fall back to 3G speeds supporting up to 42Mbps. For more information refer to the frequently asked questions image below.

How about the other 2 Telco?

M1′s 4G service, according to their website, will be free till December 2014

SingTel states their 4G service is free till a date they determine.
